TINUBDAN RUN 2025 – Sogod Bay Half-Marathon

WAIVER AGREEMENT

I, the undersigned participant, voluntarily register and participate in the TINUBDAN RUN 2025 – Sogod Bay Half-Marathon, organized in celebration of the Tinubdan Festival of Sogod, Southern Leyte.

In consideration of being allowed to take part in this activity, I hereby acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

I am fully aware that participating in a running event is a physically demanding activity that may involve inherent risks such as slips, falls, collisions, dehydration, extreme weather conditions, uneven terrain, or incidents caused by other participants.

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the TINUBDAN RUN 2025 – Sogod Bay Half-Marathon, including any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur before, during, or after the event.

2. Medical Fitness

I certify that I am in good physical condition and have no known medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating in this event.

I willingly consent to receive medical treatment or first aid deemed necessary in case of emergency, as administered by authorized medical staff or event personnel.

3. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Municipality of Sogod, the Event Organizers, Sponsors, Partner Agencies, Volunteers, and all personnel involved in the TINUBDAN RUN 2025 – Sogod Bay Half-Marathon from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or causes of action arising out of my participation in this event.

I acknowledge that this release extends to all acts of negligence, whether active or passive.

4. Rules and Regulations

I agree to abide by all official race rules, event policies, and safety instructions provided by the organizers, marshals, and medical teams.

I understand that failure to comply with these rules and regulations may result in my disqualification or removal from the race without refund.

5. Use of Image and Likeness

I grant the organizers full permission to use any photographs, videos, or recordings taken of me during the event for event documentation, promotional materials, or related publicity purposes, without any form of compensation.

6. Non-Refund Policy

I understand and accept that my registration fee is non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation, postponement, or modification due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control.

7. Acknowledgment

I have read and fully understood this waiver agreement. By signing or submitting this form, I voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein.
